We meet people everywhere who encourage and challenge us. Events occur in a planned or unexpected fashion, all with varying influences. What is important is what we do with these encounters. A Bolivian friend once told me: "We are always searching, but when we find what we are looking for, we must begin to build. All too often we are stuck in the 'searching.'"
The notion of building and sharing what I have found in ministry is the purpose of this website. I write as an Augustinian searching with the "restless heart." This website offers contacts regarding the Augustinian lifestyle, retreats, and ministry with the Hispanic and Native American communities. An important feature is the retreat "2020 Foresight" in preparation for the 50th Anniversary of Pope John XXIII's announcement of a council in 2009. As we network information and people, let us build a future together.
